Pescara has officially appointed Antonio Buscè as the new head coach for the upcoming season, marking the beginning of a new era for the club. After days of negotiations, an agreement was reached with president Daniele Sebastiani, aiming to bring the Delfino back to the top levels of football. Buscè, a former successful player, has signed a one-year contract until June 2027, with an automatic renewal clause in case of promotion to Serie B. Born in Gragnano in 1975, Buscè has a playing career that includes nearly 300 appearances with Empoli and over 180 in Serie A. As a coach, he has stood out for his ability to manage young players and for his proactive tactical ideas. He achieved success in Empoli's youth sector, winning the Primavera Scudetto in 2021. In his first professional experience, he led Rimini to victory in the Coppa Italia Serie C. His preferred formation is the 4-3-3, but he is known for his flexibility in shaping the team according to needs. Alongside Buscè, his historical collaborators will also arrive, ready to work on the revival of Pescara. The city is now waiting for the official announcement and press presentation to kick off the new season.
